Protected Learning Time – Diabetes Awareness
On 13th November, our team came together for this month’s Protected Learning Time (PLT) session, focusing on Diabetes Awareness for Diabetes Day on 14th November.
Our clinicians delivered an informative presentation on diabetes helping to increase understanding and awareness of this important condition. We also had an engaging diabetes quiz, and one of our staff members kindly shared their personal experience of living with diabetes, offering valuable insight and inspiration to us all.
To top it off, we held a raffle, with all funds raised going directly to Diabetes UK supporting the incredible work they do for those affected by diabetes.
A big thank you to everyone who took part, contributed, and helped make today’s session both educational and meaningful.
